The Behringer DR115DSP is a versatile active 15" 2-way loudspeaker with DSP and 2-channel mixer. This PA speaker is suitable for both live and playback applications. It is equipped with a powerful 1400 watt Class D amplifier. The 15" long excursion cone driver delivers incredibly deep bass and the 1.75" compression driver ensures exceptional high-frequency reproduction. This means that the Behringer DR115DSP delivers outstanding sound even at extreme sound pressure levels. It offers a dedicated DSP function for EQ, system control and speaker protection as well as an integrated Bluetooth receiver. It also includes a 2-channel mixer with individual mic/line inputs and level controls. An additional line output enables the connection of further speaker systems.

Information on cabling

Active speakers that already have an integrated amplifier do not require any external cabling between the amplifier and speaker. In this configuration, the connection is already established and pre-installed internally. Users only need to connect a cable between the active speaker and the sound source, such as a mixer. A cable with XLR connectors on both ends or a 6.3 mm instrument cable (not a speaker cable) is often used for this purpose.
This distinction is essential for the correct installation and performance of a speaker system, and choosing the right type of cable will ensure optimum sound quality.
