Big Fat Snaredrum Medford Square 14"

Rubber pad for snares

The Big Fat Snaredrum Medford Square is a special pad with a square centre made of Mylar (7"x7"), which provides a rebound effect like an ordinary head. In addition, the outer part of the pad consists of an extra thick layer of the familiar damping material. Due to the higher weight, the entire pad presses more on the head and is thus close to the surface, even during very fast play. Thanks to the thumb recess, the Medford Square can be put on and taken off as quickly as possible, providing a lightning-fast and residue-free alternative to adhesive tape, gel and the like.

Retrosound in no time

With the BIG FAT SNARE DRUM the times of gel or even tape on the head are over and the results are remarkable, because neither a second drum nor triggers etc. are needed to give the drum a completely new sound character. BFSD's high-quality and sturdy drum heads come in various sizes and designs, including tambourine clamps for the typical 70s sound, upgraded with new sound spectra. The BIG FAT SNARE DRUMs are already well established in the professional sector and are used by such greats as Brian Young, Joe Clegg and Lester Estelle.
