The Blackstar 10th Anniversary Series One 10 AE is a compact all-tube electric guitar combo that proves to be the ideal recording amp for glassy clean or modern metal sounds. The single ended power amplifier with a KT88 tube and 10 watt output guarantees a powerful sound with high headroom and tight response, which is perfectly accentuated by the 12" Celestion Seventy 80 loudspeaker. Based on an ECC83 tube, the single-channel preamp provides a clean and overdrive mode, which can be used to adjust the sound of the ISF controls for smooth fading between British mid-bite and American scoop. At the same time, the integrated reverb effect ensures a harmonious three-dimensionality in the sound.
