The Fly 3 combines two channels, a Tape Delay simulation and the patented Blackstar ISF control to a reliable and compact partner for travel, backstage and the home living room. For practice purposes, music can be played via the MP3/Line In- connection. However, if you want to record something quickly on your computer, you can use the built-in Emulated Line Out (with speaker simulation).
Blackstar Fly 3 Sugar Skull LimitedI couldn't ascertain the actual size of this amp, as every review or sales blurb had wildly varying dimensions. Although I knew it was small, I hadn't realise quite how small until the delivery driver handed me a package that could be balanced on the palm of one hand. I exaggerate, but only slightly. The Fly 3 has more functionality than full-size amps, and sounds big enough to suit all practicing environments. The Fly 3 is brilliantly designed and can be bought for very little money, so doing its best to democratise guitar playing and amp ownership. How good is this really? I've thrown much of my equipment away as the only sensible response.
