The Blackstar ID:Core BEAM is the all-round solution for Electric, Acoustic and Bass guitar amplification, alongside high-quality Hi-Fi and featuring Bluetooth connectivity. The amp comes with 2x Bass, 6x Electric Guitar, 2x Acoustic Guitar and 2x Acoustic Simulator voices which you can tweak to your liking with the Blackstar Insider software via PC or Mac. The integrated Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) allows you to choose between a traditional British or modern American sound pre-set or you can use the handy dial to find an EQ voicing of your own preference. The BEAM also comes with on-board effects; modulation, chorus and reverb as well as distortion. The BEAM has a solid foundation of sounds for the musician on the go but will be equally suited for practice at home or in the studio.

The Blackstar ID Core BEAM amp is a very versatile amp indeed. The electric, acoustic and bass guitar all sound very descent through the amp. It's a great practice amp, and the tone is actually quite good for such a small amp. The other cool feature is that it doubles as a bluetooth speaker. But the downside is that it is quite loud even on the lowest setting.
