The Bogner La Grange offers the overdrive sound of a full-grown, British tube top part in pedalboard-friendly format. Thanks to the complex circuitry with an OP amp input, five discrete Class A gain stages and a germanium diode, the pedal delivers a harmonic overdrive with variable gain intensity, whereby the character results, as with a real "plexiglass", via the mixture of two channels and the classic tone control. In addition, a total of four mini-switches are available for adjusting the timbre, while the switchable boost frees up additional volume reserves if required.
The Bogner La Grange Overdrive pedal offers the guitarist extensive possibilities to adjust his absolutely authentic Brit sound. The heart of this is undoubtedly the "Channel Blend" control, which, like a "patched" plexi, fades smoothly between bright and normal channels. The three-step "Gain" and "Structure" switches also have a fundamental influence on the intensity and character of the distortions, so that any musical style can be served between singing blues and dirty rock in the best sense. In addition, the "Variac" switch provides the option of simulating a lowered supply voltage for the authentic Brown sound. Last but not least, the"Presence" switch influences the treble reproduction.
The Bogner La Grange delivers versatile vintage Brit sounds.
The feature set and tones are amazing plus the boost post drive is great for a volume bump for solos, or to better hear your clean or volume knob rolled back tones.
I owned one of these before and regretted selling it. The colour has changed from a very yellow gold to a more Plexi style gold and is very pleasant to look at.
