The Boss CP-1X Compressor Pedal is a new style of multiband compressor designed to preserve the character of your instrument along with your technique. The intelligent technology analyses the signal in real-time, processing dynamics without muddying or colouring the tone. A gain reduction indicator displays the current attenuation being applied, whilst the familiar four-knob interface provides a sophisticated processing method. The digital circuitry of this unit produces far less noise than some similar pedals are known to generate, and this pedal will operate with all kinds of guitars, including seven and eight string instruments.
