Classic guitar design

To retain the feel of a traditional electric guitar, the Boss EURUS GS-1 uses classic materials and a proven construction. The ergonomically shaped double-cut body is made of resonant alder and features a maple neck attached with a traditional four-bolt joint. This neck has a slim C-profile for precise playability across the 24-fret Indian rosewood fingerboard.

Custom-Designed EURUS Humbucker

For expressive guitar tones, the pickup setup features two custom-designed EURUS humbuckers wound specifically for this model. Controlled via Volume and Tone knobs, the dual coils produce a wide range of sounds, from transparent cleans and light crunch to rich distortion suitable for rock and metal, selectable via the five-way switch.

Diverse synth sounds

With the EURUS GS-1, Boss combines 40 years of effects expertise with modern technology to create a smooth transition between guitar and synthesizer. Played through the Synth Out, the GS-1 delivers nearly latency-free performance and precise tracking, even for demanding techniques such as tapping and sweep picking.

Bluetooth control & editing via smartphone

Designed for modern studios, stages, and living rooms, the synth guitar provides multiple interfaces for device connectivity. On-board controls include a Synth Control Knob and a Memory Knob with six selectable presets. The GS-1 Editor app for iOS and Android unlocks deep-level editing, allowing real-time control of individual parameters. Optional Boss EV-1-WL Wireless Expression Pedal support and a USB port for firmware updates add even more flexibility.
