The BOSS GE7 Equalizer pedal offers seven bands of EQ ranging from 100Hz to 6.4kHz.
Best for guitar sounds, with boost/cut of +/- 15dB per band. This lets you completely control your sound and eliminate unwanted feedback, particularly when connected after a distortion effect.

This is my second GE7. I love this pedal. I'm a professional guitarist and I normally run it AFTER distortion pedal. That's not the only way you can use it but it is the main way I use it. It has all the right frequencies and you can get many different sounds. It's very useful.
Works equally well with electric and acoustic.
I found it to be noisy, same with all power supplies I have.
With the stock Op amps : good EQ but don't excess 3dB or it will "CHHH" a lot!!
I swapped all the 5 Op amps : amazing : very low noise in comparison!! It's become expansive because I bought several Op amps an the one I chose are not the cheapest... (the 3 JRC 022D -> 3 OPA2134CP and the 2 NMJ4558DL -> NMJ4580L)
Modded it's a beast of power and clarity, the current draw is now about 35mA instead of 10 mA stock but the sound quality is now AMAZING in comparison with what it was before.
