The Boss WAZA-AIR from the Japanese guitar giant is a practical wireless personal guitar amplification system consisting of a headphone guitar amplifier and Boss WL-T guitar transmitter that delivers first-class guitar sounds with three-dimensional spatiality without the need for a guitar cable. Five amplifier simulations from the popular Boss Katana amps promise a wide sound palette between clean and high-gain, whereas over 50 effects in the usual Boss quality leave nothing to be desired. The innovative Boss Spatial Technology creates a natural feeling of space with selectable placement of the virtual amp, while head movements lead to authentic sound changes thanks to the built-in gyro sensor. The Boss WAZA-AIR is also suitable for playing music or backing tracks via Bluetooth. Last but not least, the Boss WAZA-AIR headphone amplifier offers soft ear pads and a wide headband for excellent wearing comfort, as well as an integrated lithium-ion battery for up to five hours of playing time.

Great sounding guitar amp headphones. Very comfortable although can get a bit warm wearing them. There is a virtual amp mode where the amp sounds like it is in a virtual space. Very clever but the amp appears to drift around the room ! Not sure when you are in the stage performance mode the virtual amp isn’t just fixed directly behind . Maybe the gyroscopes are not calibrated correctly but I have read other reviews that mention this . The headphones are expensive but are great if you are travelling and don’t want to carry an amp around or if you want to practice without upsetting others in your house or neighbours.
