Buchla Electronic Musical Instruments Program Manager Card f. Easel Command

The Program Manager Card is an additive preset memory for the Buchla Easel Command respectively the Synthvoice 208C. The blue module is simply plugged into the Easel Command when it is switched off and from then on serves to store and recall presets, of which a total of 48 can be stored. Since the memory card is equipped with a class-compliant USB/MIDI interface, the presets can be conveniently managed individually or as complete banks on the computer using the Progam Manager App (Mac & Win). So there is no need to buy a second memory card when the first one is full. In addition to memory management, the app offers a number of setting options that cannot be performed on the Easel Command itself. All parameters can be controlled remotely, and real patch cables can be replaced by virtual ones. The highlight here is that each of the color-graded virtual patches contains an attenuator. This allows attenuating modulation intensities and even reversing voltages!
