CME WIDI K.O.II at a glance

The CME WIDI K.O.II enables a wireless connection between a Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O. II or EP-1320 Medieval and Bluetooth-MIDI devices using the latest Bluetooth technology. Thanks to effective algorithms, optimised functionality in the WIDI network of two devices is guaranteed with a latency of only 3 ms. In addition, the Bluetooth 5 standard used works at twice the speed and four times the range (approx. 20 meters), which makes it ideal for use on stages and in larger studios. All common parameters from the MIDI protocol such as notes, controller, clock, SysEx, timecode and MPE are processed and transmitted. The WIDI K.O.II is simply plugged into the two MIDI sockets and forms an optical unit with the sampler. Power is supplied via the MIDI-Out socket. The free app for updating and configuring is available for tablets and smartphones with iOS and Android operating systems.
