Carl Martin Compressor / Liwither Twin EffektI tried many Compressor brands and none of them could get this sound. Especially your clean tones are getting fatter and stronger. With an overdrive solo tones, you get an amazing sustain.
Thres: Its anticlock wise. You control the level of limits. Use it for your sustain.
Comp: Clockwise. Use is it near the middle. You control your compress level.
Resp: Clockwise. You control the level of response.
Gain: Clockwise. Clockwise and its logically the level of volume. If you want to use your compressor with the same level of volume, use it in the middle.
Busy: You can see when the comp/limiter is effective (even if its in bypass position)
Probably the best compressor i ever used. Built like a tank. Amazing on clean, adds great sustain to lead guitar when used with my Dead Horse Deluxe. I would recommend downloading the manual from Carl Martin and spend time becoming familiar with it.
