The Caroline Guitar Company Olympia Shigeharu pedal can produce particularly versatile Fuzz sounds, which do not lose definition and punch even with the most massive distortions. The sound spectrum of the fully analogue circuit, which uses a hybrid configuration of cascaded op amps and BC184 silicon transistors, ranges from endlessly singing solo sound to burning, massive distortion. The effective tone control of the Body and Tone knobs also allows the sound to be precisely tuned, providing high assertiveness and transparency even with the highest settings of the Drive knob.

The Caroline Guitar Company Olympia Shigeharu features the Havoc circuit with parallel-connected Octaver. When the corresponding footswitch is pressed, an octave above the played note is generated. It is also possible to permanently activate the Octaver via the internal Lock switch and convert the Havoc footswitch to a killswitch.
