The very compact Casio PX-S1100 is a stage piano with a simple yet elegant design that makes a good impression in the living room, in music schools and on stage alike. The weighted 88-key Smart Scaled Action keyboard is touch-sensitive and provides a good playing feel. The surface of the keyboard, which consists of a synthetic ebony and ivory texture, also contributes to this. Thanks to 192 voiced polyphony, the instrument can also be played quickly by two people without a note being swallowed. The 18 sounds included, eight of which are piano sounds, offer a good mix of classical, pop and jazz and can be used in a variety of ways. A selection of effects consisting of reverb (4 types), room simulation (2 types) and Chorus (4 types) further enhance the 18 sounds if desired. If you connect a USB stick to the Privia PX-S1100, you can record and play back up to 99 self-recorded songs of 25 minutes each in CD quality in the device, depending on the size of the stick. The internal MIDI recorder is limited to one song with two tracks. The implemented Bluetooth functionality allows the exchange of MIDI and audio data via the wireless interface. This means you can stream both directly to a computer with music software (DAW) for recording, use the stage piano as a wireless master keyboard or send the played sounds to a hi-fi system, for example.
