The Clover Apeiron 5 Black is based on the traditional construction method. Accordingly, the body is made of alder, while the neck is made of Canadian maple and carries a rosewood fretboard. The sixfold screw connection guarantees a particularly stable connection. With the not too strong "C" profile, the neck also offers comfortable playability.
The electrical tone conversion of the Clover Apeiron 5 Black is done by the American smithy Nordstrand. At the jetty, the Nordstrand MM Humbucker delivers powerful sounds with a solid bass foundation and brilliant highs that have enormous assertiveness. In the middle position the Nordstrand NJ Single Coil convinces with a transparent but denooch warm vintage sound. The pickups are managed via a classic passive circuit with separate volume and tone controls for each pickup, which can be used to call up versatile sound images.
Last but not least, the Clover Apeiron 5 Black convinces with high-quality hardware. The Clover Brass Bridge serves as a bridge on the body, whose solid brass construction contributes significantly to the harmonious sound development and the sustain of the five-string.
