Cordial BLACKLIGHT-EDITION 3 PR-G-SILENT instrument cable with a length of 3 m is a professional companion of the Cordial line "peak" with extraordinary features. The CGK 150 and and Neutrik connectors result in a cable that is an ideal choice for any occasion on stage or in the rehearsal room. One of the plugs is a so-called silentPLUG for silent plugging and unplugging. Its visually appealing design is an absolute eye-catcher. Especially in the dark, its neon green color comes into its own. For a great effect, individual threads of UV-reactive material have been woven into the fabric jacket. This makes the cable shine in black light and offers an eye-catching and psychedelic glowing stage design, which gives every show that certain something.
In addition to its outstanding design, the CGK 150 and convinces with high-quality materials and excellent performance. This is ensured by advantageous features such as the double shielding consisting of an effective spiral shield and a shield made of conductive plastic. This reliably repels interfering signals and also serves to minimize microphony effects. The conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm² is twice as high as that of conventional instrument cables and contributes to clean signal transmission.
The instrument cable is rounded off by Neutrik 6.3 mm mono jacks, which impress with their impeccable quality and maximum functionality. To ensure reliable protection against corrosion, the contacts of both plugs are provided with a gold coating. For the connection to the instrument, a silentPLUG is used here, which is angled in this version of the cable. An angled plug is particularly recommended when the cable has to be bent. With it, it is directly in the right position and is not unnecessarily stressed.
Often there is a loud crash when plugging and unplugging the instrument, which is not only unpleasant to listen to, but in the worst case can also damage amps as well as drumheads. And unfortunately, this can happen faster than expected. A silentPLUG prevents this by muting the instrument cable at the exact moment it is plugged in or unplugged. The instrument change is thus almost noiseless. The Neutrik model connects plus and ground through a small movable magnetic switch, which creates a short circuit. The inside of the switch is hermetically sealed.
So that the silentPLUG can also be used under heavier loads, it is equipped with Neutrik's proven collet strain relief. In addition, the rubber jacket ensures good shock resistance.
IMPORTANT! The silentPLUG may only be used on the instrument. If you plug it into an amplifier output, this can be damaged!
The signal is not "muted" on active electric basses with tip ring sleeve tap to activate the power supply.
