Cordial BLACKLIGHT-EDITION 3 PR-G-SILENT is a 3-meter professional instrument cable from Cordial’s high-end "PEAK" line, packed with extraordinary features. Built with CGK 150 cable by the meter and premium Neutrik connectors, it’s the perfect choice for both live performances and rehearsals. One standout feature is the silentPLUG, enabling silent plugging and unplugging – ideal for seamless transitions on stage. But the real showstopper is its striking design: a vibrant neon green fabric jacket with UV-reactive woven threads, making it glow under blacklight for a psychedelic stage effect that adds extra flair to any performance.
In addition to its outstanding design, the CGK 150 and convinces with high-quality materials and excellent performance. This is ensured by advantageous features such as the double shielding consisting of an effective spiral shield and a shield made of conductive plastic. This reliably repels interfering signals and also serves to minimize microphony effects. The conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm² is twice as high as that of conventional instrument cables and contributes to clean signal transmission.
The cable is fitted with Neutrik 6.3 mm mono jacks, known for their flawless quality and durability. Both plugs feature gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance and optimal conductivity. For added convenience, the angled silentPLUG ensures easy positioning and reduced strain—perfect for tight setups like pedalboards or compact stage rigs. Often there is a loud crash when plugging and unplugging the instrument, which is not only unpleasant to listen to, but in the worst case can also damage amps as well as drumheads. And unfortunately, this can happen faster than expected. A silentPLUG prevents this by muting the instrument cable at the exact moment it is plugged in or unplugged. The instrument change is thus almost noiseless. The Neutrik model connects plus and ground through a small movable magnetic switch, which creates a short circuit. The inside of the switch is hermetically sealed.
So that the silentPLUG can also be used under heavier loads, it is equipped with Neutrik's proven collet strain relief. In addition, the rubber jacket ensures good shock resistance.
IMPORTANT! The silentPLUG may only be used on the instrument. If you plug it into an amplifier output, this can be damaged!
The signal is not "muted" on active electric basses with tip ring sleeve tap to activate the power supply.
