Expressive sound with a modern response

The all-solid construction forms the basis for a dynamic and detailed sound. The combination of a spruce top with Custom 4-piece fan bracing, together with a mahogany back and sides, ensures a well-balanced blend of brilliant trebles, warm mids and a powerful bass foundation. The acacia veneer emphasises the instrument’s high-quality character, whilst the construction enables a fast response and excellent projection. The soundhole in the upper side panel also helps the player to hear themselves even more directly.

Ergonomic playability for modern techniques

The Abasi Stage 7 Acacia has been consistently designed for maximum playability. The mahogany neck with its comfortable flat-C profile sits comfortably in the hand and, together with the rosewood fingerboard, offers optimal conditions for fast runs, complex chords and demanding fingerstyle techniques. Thanks to the multiscale scale length of 647.7 to 698.5 mm, all seven strings benefit from balanced string tension and precise intonation. The 54 mm wide bone nut, 24 frets with dot inlays and the rosewood bridge with bone insert round off the well-thought-out playing experience.

Fishman Stage Pickup for Natural Stage Performance

For amplified use, the guitar is fitted with a Fishman Stage pickup. The system authentically conveys the instrument’s natural character and offers extensive customisation options directly on the guitar. In addition to a volume control, an equaliser and a body blend control are available, allowing the sound to be flexibly adapted to different stage situations and playing styles. As a result, the Cordoba Abasi Stage 7 Acacia delivers an expressive and transparent sound both in the studio and on stage.
