Warm tones through mahogany and cedar

The Cordoba C5 CD achieves excellent sound results thanks to its solid cedar top, which has improved vibration behavior due to its construction and gives the typical warm cedar sound the necessary assertiveness. Furthermore, the wood, which is popular in guitar making, scores with its fast sound development for a full-grown tone after the shortest playing time. The warm sound is supported by laminated mahogany back and sides, which also discreetly brings the midrange to the fore and has a decidedly almost attack.

A mahogany neck with Pau Ferro fingerboard and 52mm nut width guarantees pure playing pleasure.

Handy mahogany neck

Thanks to its pleasant weight and high stability, the neck, which is also made of mahogany, fits perfectly in the hand and allows the picking hand to glide effortlessly over all 19 frets of the pau ferro fingerboard. At the same time, the nut width of 52 mm fulfills the requirement necessary for skillful fingerpicking, which is an important criterion especially for classical guitar players. Meanwhile, the bone nut and a bone bridge inlay ensure clean intonation, while gold-plated tun ers guarantee high tuning stability.
