Crazy Tube Circuits Unobtanium - amp-in-a-box pedal with authentic tube drive

The Crazy Tube Circuits Unobtanium combines two legendary sounds in a single pedal: a germanium-based overdrive and a fully analogue D-style amp-in-a-box section. The right-hand side reproduces the famous high-headroom overdrive including a wide gain range down to the last detail and delivers everything from transparent Boost to dynamic overdrive compression. With active treble EQ, switchable true or buffer bypass and a second clipping variant for more headroom, the Unobtanium is a real all-rounder on the pedalboard. The left side delivers iconic D-style amp sounds: from typical tube saturation to rich crunch to organic Overdrive - everything is possible. Gain, Emphasis and Tone controls allow precise sound shaping, while a toggle switches between two characteristic voicings (SSS / ODS).

Effect loop and internal voltage boost to 18 V

Thanks to the passive serial effects loop, both sections can be used independently or combined versatilely with other pedals. An internal voltage boost to 18 V ensures an authentic tube feel, enormous headroom and maximum dynamics. With top-mounted sockets, high-quality relay true bypass circuitry and an external voicing footswitch input, the Unobtanium offers an exceptional combination of boutique overdrive and genuine amp character. This makes the Unobtanium ideal for anyone looking for a comprehensive amp-in-a-box pedal that delivers high-quality sounds and easy integration into any Pedalboard!
