The D'Addario EPN22 Jazz Medium Guitar Strings 13-56 is a set of six strings for an electric guitar. The EPN22 set combine the playability of a jazz medium gauge with a warmer, vintage tone. The D'Addario XL Pure Nickel strings are a homage to the 1950s when nickel was the primary alloy used to construct electric guitar strings, before being succeeded by nickel-plated steel in the 1960s to produce a brighter tone and enhanced magnetism. This set of Pure Nickel strings is a return to the richer, warmer timbres famously heard in traditional blues, classic rock and rockabilly.
