D'Addario NYXL 09-84 Carbon Steel Alloy

For NYXL, new high-strength Carbon steel alloys, wire winding methods and coating processes have been developed. The strings have a 6% higher magnetic permeability, which leads to a power increase in the frequency range from 2 to 5 kHz and more punch, crunch and bite. The higher the magnetic power, the greater the tonal and playful possibilities.

NYXL strings were developed, manufactured and perfected in New York.
