The DDT Trigger Set AT-40S offers the finest in high-speed triggering thanks to digital technology. The set includes four stereo triggers for snare drum and toms as well as a mono trigger for bass drum. The triggers work with any sound module and fit on any hoop whether flanged, cast iron or wooden hoops of the bass drum.
The DDT AT-40 triggers works with a patented system called C.V.A.M (Constant Vectored Amplitude Measurements), which ensures an even and differentiated resolution during the scanning of the head and thus error-free triggering, independent of the striking position. Gone are the days of annoying dead spots or volume fluctuations. The dynamic output for the module has also been improved, despite the very low pressure the trigger exerts on the head.
Thanks to P.S.H (Protected Sensor Head) the sensor of the AT-40 trigger is as safe as in Abraham's lap. The connection to the sound module is made via jack connections with locking, so that there are no nasty surprises even during live use.
The DDT AT-40S package contains a total of 5 triggers, 4 of them as stereo version with an additional sensor for the rim sound. All triggers are attached to the hoop of the shell with the aid of the respective clamping screw, supporting all common cast iron and steel hoops. The latter also applies to the selection of the sound module, as the DDT AT-40 triggers are compatible with any currently available module.
