DG De Gregorio Shamal Cajon

The De Gregorio Shamal Cajon is a high-quality beginner Cajon from the Spanish percussion expert. The Shamal is made of robust birch wood and is equipped with DG's patented "Pre-Tuned Tapa" system. The steel strings are glued to the inside of the striking surface with the optimum pre-tension in order to achieve a good snare sound. The high-strength thermal adhesive ensures that the tension is reliably maintained. No need to tune the strings yourself, just sit down and get started. The design of the striking surface itself has been designed to last a long time, as the playing surface is minimally smaller than the body itself. When the playing surface is replaced, only the plate itself has to be screwed to the body, thus avoiding sanding and varnishing. Long service life and good sound do not have to be mutually exclusive.
