DG De Gregorio Yaqui Cajon Iris

The De Gregorio Yaqui Cajon Iris is a birch wood Cajon with a modern sound and convinces not only with excellent sound characteristics and appealing look but also with a well thought-out construction. A 9mm thick body makes the Yaqui very robust and the multi-layered birch front panel with iris finish sets visual accents. By installing small bells behind the playing surface, this Cajon gets a unique sound, which is composed of the crisp snare sound and the bright overtones of the bells. If required, the two string pairs can be completely removed for a classic Peruvian sound without snare effect. With the RTS system ("Reduced Tapa Size"), the playing surface can be easily replaced as needed, for example if damaged, making the Yaqui particularly durable.
