DOD Carcosa Fuzz

The DOD Carcosa Analogue Fuzz Guitar Pedal is a dual-mode pedal created to be pushed to excess. If you are looking for classic fuzz tone then look no further, but that is only the beginning of what the Carcosa can achieve. The two modes are Hali and Demhe – Hali is a lighter tone for signals already running on plenty of juice, whilst Demhe will force its way into a cleaner amp/guitar set-up and destroy the opposition. Hali has a tighter high-end and leans towards darker tones and Demhe scoops out the low-mids to poke the transients through the mist. The trick to obtain that ideal fuzz rests with the Before & After control knobs though. They are dynamically linked and between the two of them represent an almost infinite amount of subtle nuance – particularly striking sounds come to the fore once the After control passes the Before, but only experimentation with the pedal and your specific set-up will yield the best results.
