The DOD Mini Expression is an extremely compact expression pedal that fits easily on any pedal board. The DOD Mini Expression can be adapted to almost any effect device thanks to the triple switchable pin assignment of the connection socket.

I wanted a small format expression pedal and this one seemed to fit the bill.
However it turned out that it did not reach full range (e.g. not getting to 0 nor 127 in midi), which is its first drawback.
So I tried to open it and see if I could do something about it, and it turns out that opening it and tinkering with it just basically destroys the pedal, which DOD now warns about. And of course now the waranty is void.
Do you really want to pay a high price for a pedal that does not do its job properly and cannot be maintained or fixed? I don't.
I went with a Boss EV-30 after that, which is a bit bigger but is built like a tank (like all Boss products) and behaves as expected.
