The DW 50th Anniversary Snare 14"x6,5" Limited Edition is an anniversary model made of exquisite materials. It convinces with outstanding workmanship and unique appearance. The twelve-ply hybrid shell is made of a combination of persimmon wood, a hard wood similar to purpleheart that creates a dense attack and projection, and spruce wood, which enhances warmth and tonality. The valuable Antique Gold hardware completes the noble overall picture harmoniously. The HVLT shell consists of 12 layers with an outer layer of Quilted Maple and noble Inlays Maple/Rosewood. The solid hoops in the form of DW True Hoops deliver clearly focused sound and powerful rim shots. The heads are made by Remo, thanks to the True Pitch tuning rods with fine thread a robust and sensitive tuning is guaranteed. The MAG throw-off can be adjusted comfortably and impresses with excellent handling.
