Powerful maple sound with classic DW Performance features

The DW Performance Shell Set Rock II Chrome Shadow Finish Ply, crafted from North American maple, is a spectacular drum kit in the popular DW quality. The shells, each eight-ply thick, have been glued together using DW’s in-house HVX construction method, giving them a deep fundamental tone with powerful projection. Remo-manufactured heads are held in place on the 45° shell flanges by triple-flanged steel hoops. To ensure the hanging tom can produce its best possible sound, it is suspended freely by DW’s Suspension Tom Mounts.

The maple shells feature DW’s usual excellent quality, with precise attack and sustain characteristics and impressive tonal depth. The True Pitch tuning lugs allow for precise fine-tuning of the drums and ensure consistent tuning stability. This means the DW Performance Shell Set can always be optimally adapted to personal preferences and specific musical styles.
