The Danelectro 58 Longhorn Bass Copper Burst Lefthand is a loving recreation of the Shortscale bass introduced in 1958, which convinces with its unmistakable look and authentic vintage feeling. To create the distinctive, deep sound, Danelectro traditionally uses the typical Masonite construction and Lipstick pickup with surprisingly powerful output for the 58 Longhorn bass for left-handers. Thanks to the short 29.75" scale length and the slim neck profile, the bass guitar also convinces with buttery smooth playing characteristics up to the highest registers. naturally, authentic Vintage-Style Hardware in the form of small guitar tuners and a hardtail bridge with rosewood inlay completes the 58 Longhorn Bass Lefthand by Danelectro.

Authentic construction

Underneath the classic copper burst finish, the 58 Longhorn Bass for left-handers naturally hides the classic Danelectro construction, which contributes significantly to its distinctive sound character. In addition to the short 29.75" scale length (756 mm), the bass guitar accordingly features a poplar body frame closed with Masonite panels. The distinctive Cutaways and slim C-profile also allow the four-bolt maple neck to be easily played up to the highest registers of the 24-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard.

Lipstick pickup and stacked pots

Two Lipstick pickups are naturally responsible for the electric sound conversion of the 58 Longhorn Bass Copper Burst Lefthand, which have always been among the unrecognizable features of the traditional company. At the bass amplifier, the electric bass guitar convinces with a sonorous sound that combines a rich low end with amazingly transparent highs and reacts with sensitive dynamics to the playing style. The tone can also be adjusted via the typical "stacked controls" for each pickup. While the discs at the bottom determine the volume, the white pointers regulate the treble content of the signal.

Vintage Style Hardware
