With De Haske Listening, Reading & Playing - Flute Jaap Kastelein presents an ideal school for the flute. The concept used here corresponds to that of modern music lessons and makes the learning process refreshingly varied by means of games, puzzles, listening exercises, songs and original compositions. This complete edition includes all three volumes of the series.
Volume 1 of the school is aimed at beginners and teaches the musical basics of playing the flute. It covers note values up to eighth notes in a moderate range, a few accidentals and accidentals as well as necessary auxiliary fingerings. This can be built upon in the further course of the lessons to help students become excellent musicians. The holistic knowledge of one's own musical instrument is also an extremely important aspect.
