The SC LIVE 4White from Denon DJ is a versatile 4-deck all-in-one DJ controller with intuitive control via a 7-inch multi-gesture touchscreen. Thanks to numerous connection options, external media such as USB sticks, external hard disks or SD cards can be easily integrated and used. Theintegrated Engine DJ softwareanalyzes tracks at lightning speed after loading them into one of the four decks, so that a seamless mix is immediately possible. For an optimized workflow, we recommend pre-analysing and organizing the music via the Engine DJ software on a computer. This writes metadata directly into the ID3 tags, eliminating the need for re-analysis by the SC LIVE 4 White. An outstanding feature is the integrated Wi-Fi interface, which provides access to a variety of cloud and streaming services. In addition to Dropbox, Beatport, Beatsource, SoundCloud Go+ and TIDAL, a direct connection to Amazon Music Unlimited is also possible for the first time. An active subscription to the respective service is required for use. The SC LIVE 4 White is also compatible with professional DJ programs such as Serato DJ Pro and Virtual DJ(software not included). This allows music stored on the computer to be used and the software to be controlled directly via the controller. The Stems function enables the precise isolation or removal of vocals, melody, Bass and drums from any track. This groundbreaking technology opens up limitless creative possibilities for customizing DJ sets, creating exciting remixes or executing unique performances. Engine DJ Stems takes DJ sets to a new Level and redefines the boundaries of what is possible. As of December 11, 2024, Stems playback is available on all Engine DJ devices. The latest update of the ENGINE DJ or integrates Apple Music into standalone DJ systems. Compatible devices now provide direct access to over 100 million songs and more than 30,000 curated playlists. An active Apple Music subscription is required. The "Synchronize library" function in the Apple Music app also enables automatic access to purchased, uploaded and personal playlists - without any manual effort. This significantly enhances the music experience. Apple Music is supported on the following devices: Numark Mixstream Pro +, Mixstream Pro Go, Denon DJ SC LIVE 2, SC LIVE 4, PRIME 4+ and PRIME GO+. The integration allows flexible music access - whether practicing, DJing or on the go. In addition, the update brings further improvements such as performance optimizations and stability updates for all ENGINE DJ devices.
Jogwheels
The jog wheel is the central control unit of a controller and is essential for a haptically flawless DJ experience thanks to its rotary movement. It shows the most important dataat a glance: which deck is currently being controlled, the current speed in BPM (beats per minute) and the remaining time of the song.
Mixer section
The mixer unit installed in the SC Live 4 Whiteis basedon the layout of the Denon DJX1850 PRIME in terms of features. One of the four Sweep FX (Filter, Noise, Echo or Wash) can be selected and controlled individually for each deck via the Sweep FX knobs. The SC Live 4 White also has 13 BPM FX on board for even more creative freedom!
Performance pads
With the performance pads, users can use tools such as cue points, loops, rolls and the slicer mode to creatively influence the flow of a track and shape it to their own taste.
