The DigiTech Jimi Hendrix Experience Pedal is a guitar effects pedal featuring seven of the most powerful sounds from Hendrix’s library. Modelled using the original masters from Eddie Kramer, the original recording engineer from Electric Ladyland Studio, and advanced Production Modeling Technology. Key components within the signal path that have been modelled include Marshall Super Lead, Fender BassMan amps, Dallas Arbiter, Fuzz Face, Roger Mayer, Octavia, Unicord Univibe, Vox, Clyde McCoy Wah pedals. The idea of the revolutionary Production Modeling is to reproduce the studio and live sounds and effects of artists as close as possible to the original recordings. In order to do this, DigiTech modelled the cabinets, microphones and their placements, pre/post effects and certain production tricks from the engineer into the pedal. To ensure the detailed accuracy, the original tapes were used as reference source.
