Four-string SignatureBass of the Periphery bassist
With the Dingwall NG3 Nolly Signature four string Black Forest Green, the Canadian bass manufacturer teams up with Adam Nolly Getgood, the charismatic bassist and producer of the djent metal pioneers Periphery, to create a modern electric bass in a popular multiscale design. Alongside the alder body, Dingwall uses an exceptionally fast Medium Thin C maple neck, while FD 3N neodymium pickups and active Darkglass Tone Capsule electronics deliver a highly versatile sound palette. Premium hardware, including Dingwall individual bridges and precise Hipshot Ultralite bass tuners, completes the NG3 Nolly Signature four string bass.
Multiscale construction for tighte sounds
The construction of the NG3 Nolly Getgood Signature Bass follows the modern multiscale concept with individually optimized scale lengths for each string. The scale ranges from 34 inches at the G string to 36.25 inches at the low E, ensuring outstanding precision and even sustain across the entire instrument. The alder body provides excellent balance both on a strap and when seated, while the bolt on maple neck with its agile Medium Thin C profile offers superb playability across all 24 fanned frets of the maple fingerboard.
Neodymium pickups and Darkglass electronics.
The sound of the NG3 Nolly Signature four string bass is generated by three Dingwall FD 3N pickups. Thanks to their powerful neodymium magnets, they produce an aggressive yet smooth tone. A rotary selector allows the pickups to be used individually as well as in series or parallel combinations, resulting in four distinctive core sounds. For precise tone shaping, the bass is equipped with active Darkglass Tone Capsule electronics featuring a 3-band equalizer with controls for bass, low mids, and high mids. If required, the instrument can also be switched to passive operation.
High-quality hardware equipment
The NG3 Nolly Signature four string Black Forest Green bass guitar is fitted with premium hardware designed for absolute reliability on stage and in the studio. Four Dingwall individual bridges provide precise adjustment of intonation and string height, while the popular Hipshot Ultralite tuners ensure accurate tuning and effectively prevent neck dive.
