With the A-190-7 1U Micro MIDI to CV/Gate interface, Doepfer presents its simplest MIDI to CV/Gate interface to date in Intellijel 1U format. The module only requires 8 HP of space in the 1U row in the rack and only processes note values, i.e. pitch and gate length, no velocity, pitch bend, controller or clock. CV and Gate are each available in duplicate, which saves the use of a multiple to duplicate the two signals in some patches. The module is connected to other MIDI equipment via a MIDI TRS adapter (available separately).
The Midi input can be normalized internally via Arduino cable to the Midi output of another A-100 module, provided this has an internal Midi output (e.g. A-155-2/3, A-198-2). This allows you to output the CV voltage of the A-155-2/3 in quantized form, for example.
