Dowina Cabernet DCE

The Dowina Guitars Cabernet DCE is an electro-acoustic guitar featuring a Dreadnought Cutaway body shape topped with Canadian cedar. A resonant body made of rosewood with a solid back lends to a dynamic performance when plugged in via the built-in L.R. Baggs Stage Pro Element pickup system, making it suitable for gigs, recordings or experimentation with effects. Laminated rosewood produces resonant basses, rich nuances and a powerful mid-range, whilst the Canadian cedar top completes a rich sound spectrum.

The Cabernet DCE is equipped with a L.R. Baggs Stage Pro Element System known for its organic and lively sound reproduction. This consists of an undersaddle transducer in the form of a thin-film sensor under the bridge as well as the active Stage Pro preamplifier. This combination takes the sound image to the correct signal path for amplifiers and recording devices. A built-in tuner ensures quick and accurate tuning, whilst a phase switch and notch filter have additionally been included to prevent feedback. Die-cast tuning machines further add to a stable and accurate tuning.
