Fully solid acoustic guitar in grand auditorium design with open pore finish
With the Dowina Cabernet GA, the Slovakian manufacturer from near Bratislava presents a fully solid acoustic guitar in a versatile Grand Auditorium design with a warm and expressive sound. A cedar top provides a powerful tone that is especially pronounced in the bass and midrange frequencies and unfolds quickly and long-lasting thanks to a wafer-thin open-pore finish. A flat mahogany neck with a dark ebony fingerboard, which has a width of 45 mm at the nut and thus offers enough space to easily master even extensive fingerings and chords, ensures obliging playability in all 21 frets. In combination with a compensated bone saddle, the instrument intonates cleanly and precisely on the 650 mm scale length, so that all notes in all registers come into their own. Chrome-plated Grover die-cast tuners with black buttons allow for easy tuning of the 6 steel strings, which end in an ebony bridge, due to their fine transmission. A subtle herringbone binding and a colorful soundhole rosette give the instrument a unique appearance that is perfectly rounded off with the matte finish.
