The Dreadnought with cutaway offers a cedar wood ceiling made of a special wood selection on a solid rosewood body for the greatest possible sound projection, while the neck is made of exotic Sipo wood. Accordingly, the Cabernet WE-DCE with its crisp appeal is the ideal companion for strumming and flatpicking. Last but not least, thanks to the Fishman Presys+ pickup system, the all-massive Cabernet DCE is ideally equipped for stage and studio.
The solid cedar wood top of the Cabernet WE-DCE provides a powerful midrange spectrum and a sustain-rich sound, which is harmoniously complemented by the solid rosewood body. As a real dreadnought the Cabernet WE-DCE with the pick played to its full advantage and underlines pickings with crisp attack.
In the Winter Edition Dowina uses exotic Sipo wood to build the guitar neck. The wood often found in furniture construction has a fine mahogany grain and a smooth feeling on the thumb. Thanks to the soft V-profile, the neck offers a good contact surface for the hand and a good basis for bendings. Last but not least, the ebony Skunk-Stripe provides a robust and long-lasting neck construction.
