With the Dreadbox Treminator, the creative effects and synthesizer forge from Athens puts a modern twist on the time-honored tremolo effect. Inspired by the VCAs of a synthesizer, the Treminator generates the volume changes via a Voltage Controlled Amplifier and an LFO, which can be influenced by the connected instrument thanks to an envelope generator to create inspiring sound effects. While the Shape control influences the waveform and thus the character of the volume modulation, the Rate pot and the Tap function determine the frequency of the LFO, while the Division switch calls up different rhythms.
