Duesenberg Double Cat Multibender Fireburst

Solid Body Electric Guitar with Sound Chambers and Multibender Bridge

With the Duesenberg Double Cat, the renowned Hanoverian guitar makers present a solid body electric guitar with sound chambers and an in-house designed Multibender bridge. This allows classical pedal steel effects on individual strings, while the hollow-milled body of the double cat contributes to the distinctive sound character of the elegant instrument.

Chambered Body & Duesenberg Pickups

The hollow-milled body of the Double Cat consists of carefully selected American alder and is finished with a laminated maple top. The construction, including 'Cat Eye' F-hole, together with the set, solid maple neck provides a warm and sustained sound. The popular Duesenberg combination of a Grand Vintage Humbucker at the bridge and a Domino P-90 at the neck is responsible for the sound. The middle position of the 3-way switch activates a high-pass filter to the signal of the humbucker, in order to filter out dull frequencies.

Duesenberg Multibender Bridge

For fans of classic lapsteel and country sounds, the Duesenberg Double Cat comes with the innovative Multibender Bridge. Using the individually adjustable levers, each string can be individually raised or lowered by half or full tone, depending on how the string is set. The use of multiple separate levers is also possible without problems.
