With the Duesenberg Violin Bass Black Duesenberg an independent interpretation of one of the most legendary bass designs presents itself, which comes up with the typical Art Déco design and classical Vintage sound. Accordingly, the Hollowbody electric bass has a body made of maple with a spruce top, which shapes the sound together with the bass bucker. At the same time the glued maple neck offers a high playing comfort, while Duesenberg hardware with high functionality completes the equipment.
The construction of the Duesenberg violin bass is based Duesenberg on the Hollowbody construction, which has been tried and tested since the 1950s and promises a distinctive sound with fast attack and warm resonance. The back and sides of the compact body are made of laminated maple, while the top is also made of laminated spruce. In addition, the 4-string hollow body bass with the comfortable "D" profile of the glued maple neck and the shortened 30.3" medium scale scale offers high playing comfort.
Two bass Duesenberg buckers in the neck and bridge position are used as pickups on the Duesenberg violin bass, delivering an authentic Vintage sound with typical hollow body character and lively dynamics. Accordingly, the amplifier provides warm bass sounds with deep bass foundation, harmonic mid-range and a velvety treble spectrum that provide the perfect basis for classical beat music, pop, blues or rock. Individual volume controls for each pickup and a master tone control are available for adjusting the sound image.

The strings are held on the corpus by an elegant trapezoidal tailpiece, while the Duesenberg Bass Bridge with its three-dimensionally adjustable string riders guarantees a perfectly adjusted string position. On the headstock, encapsulated Kluson tuners with chic amber-look wings ensure a precise and stable tuning of the four-string.
