The ESP LTD AP-5 Black is a versatile all-round 5-string electric bass that convinces with its successful combination of classic design and modern detail solutions. The traditionally designed body of the ESP LTD AP-5 is made of alder, while the maple neck is fastened with six screws via a particularly stable connection. With its "Thin U" profile and slender 38 mm saddle width, the neck lies particularly comfortably in the hand, so that every barrel on the ebony fingerboard can easily get out of the fingers. Active EMG pickups provide a particularly variable sound. The EMG P Split Coil in the middle position delivers a pushing sound, the powerful bass foundation of which makes itself felt in the pit of the stomach, while the transparent assertiveness of the EMG LJ Single Coil radiates through the densest band sound. The extremely massive Babicz FCH-5 Full Contact bridge also promises a long sustain, while bass Grover mechanics on the headstock ensure precise tuning.
