With the ESP LTD GL Burnt Tiger, the Tokyo guitar manufacturer presents a very special signature electric guitar for George Lynch, who is regarded as their first endorser and made ESP electric guitars known worldwide with his band Dokken. The classic alder body offers a unique relief finish in tiger stripes, while the screwed maple neck has an ebony fingerboard with custom skull inlay and was personally signed by the master on the headstock. The electric guitar also features a Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucker, Floyd Rose tremolo and Grover Rotomatic tuners. This unique signature model is delivered in a formal case with certificate and hand-signed belt.
The unique finish of the ESP LTD Burnt Tiger immediately catches the eye. The alder body is provided with a clearly perceptible relief in the form of tiger stripes, which are based on George Lynch's legendary ESP M-1 Tiger. For the deep brown colour, the electric guitar is also treated in an elaborate thermal process before it is overpainted with a matt finish. With its strong "GL Orignal U" profile and a saddle width of 45 mm, the screwed maple neck offers a high level of comfort and sufficient space for clean fingerings on virtuoso solos and complex chords when playing the guitar. Between the 22 extra jumbo frets of the ebony fingerboard, classic dots and a custom skull inlay provide the best orientation.
George Lynch wanted the Seymour Duncan TB-6 Distortion Trembucker to be an absolute classic among the high output humbuckers for the ESP LTD Burnt Tiger. With its powerful ceramic magnets and hot windings, the pickup makes the amplifier sweat and delivers a juicy rock and metal sound. Aggressive highs, focused mids and tight basses whip every tricky riff precisely through the band sound and make leads sing with a wild voice. But the pickup can also convince in the clean channel, where it presents chords with precise string separation and melodies with harmonic response clearly and transparently. The humbucker is controlled in a straight line by a volume control in the form of a skull.

As a bridge, the ESP George Lynch Burnt Tiger uses the classic Floyd Rose Double Locking Tremolo, the proven industry standard for shredder and heavy guitars. The system convinces with its soft handling, which transforms every Whammy Bar action between gently shimmering vibrato and aggressive dive bombs or squeals with effortless ease and shines with absolute stability. In addition, Grover Rotomatic tuners with smooth running and precise transmission at the headstock are convincing. The ESP LTD GL Burnt Tiger also comes with a high-quality case, a certificate of authenticity and a guitar strap signed by George Lynch.

A guitarist with the American hard rock bands Dokken and Lynch Mob, George Lynch dominated the world's stages in the 1980s and 1990s with his virtuoso playing, combining influences from artists as diverse as Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, Albert King and Al Di Meola. George Lynch is also considered the first ESP Signature Artist ever. On his Japan tour in 1985, in search of a replacement neck, he discovered the ESP Shop in Tokyo, which, in addition to spare parts, also offered custom instruments manufactured to customer specifications. Convinced of the high quality of the electric guitars, Lynch ordered his legendary ESP Kamikaze, with which the Japanese brand made a worldwide audience and other guitarists, including James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Jeff Hannemann, famous on the following tours.
