Designed around the elegant ESP Mystique body shape, the JR-7 features a 27" scale length, perfect for low tunings and extended-range clarity. Its neck-through-body construction – a five-piece laminate of walnut, maple, and padauk – ensures maximum sustain and structural integrity. The “Thin U” neck profile and 48 mm nut width support modern techniques like tapping, sweeping, and fast legato runs. The swamp ash body, paired with a cloud maple top, offers a stunning visual contrast and balanced weight distribution for long playing sessions.

Outfitted with Alnico V magnets and a distinctive Open Core aesthetic, these modern pickups offer dual voicings that can be effortlessly toggled using a dedicated mini-switch. Voice 1 delivers tight, articulate tones with crisp modern clarity, perfect for complex riffing and defined lead lines. In contrast, Voice 2 provides a warmer, more vintage-inspired voicing, ideal for expressive phrasing and rich harmonic content. A 5-way selector switch, combined with master volume and tone controls, unlocks a broad tonal palette, making the JR-7 equally adept at producing ambient clean textures and saturated high-gain leads – tailored for the demands of progressive metal and beyond.
