8-String Stephen Carpenter Signature Electric Guitar with Fishman Fluence Pickups

With a 27" baritone scale, double Fishman Fluence SRC pickup and a fixed hipshot bridge, the ESP LTD SC-608B 8-String is the electric guitar of choice for Stephen's complex chord work on the deftones. Accordingly, the eight-string provides a tight and fast dynamic response, while the Fishman Fluence Humbucker versions developed especially for Stephen Carpenter accommodate two different voicings: Bridge and mid-pickup can be switched separately into the "Modern Passive Attack" or "Modern Active" using the push/pull function of the volume and tone potentiometers to call up the best characteristics of active and passive humbuckers.
