The SC205 is a two-way nearfield monitor from the SilverCone series with a 5-inch woofer. It offers extended bass response and high output power, easily filling a room with a detailed and dynamic sound. Practical threaded mounting points on the underside and rear of the cabinet allow for use on microphone or speaker stands, or wall mounting via a back plate bracket.
The woofer cone is made of a rigid honeycomb-structured material coated with glass fiber, ensuring stability and sonic accuracy. A sophisticated magnet system with a copper cap minimizes distortion, while a 1-inch voice coil allows for greater linear excursion and an impressive dynamic range. Paired with the proprietary AMT tweeter and a highly efficient PWM amplifier, the SC205 delivers powerful and precise bass along with exceptional transparency.
The rear-ported bass reflex system features a large, rectangular opening without sharp edges, improving bass efficiency, reducing distortion at high volume, and eliminating port compression.

The cabinet design has been specially developed for maximum efficiency and aesthetics. Instead of conventional front bass ports, Eve Audio uses a tuned, larger rectangular port at the rear, designed without hard edges. This thoughtful design improves bass response efficiency, reduces distortion at high volumes, and delivers powerful, clear sound without the usual drawbacks of port compression.

The Air Motion Transformer (AMT) is based on proven ribbon tweeter technology and has been refined by Eve Audio into an advanced, proprietary design. This technology is a core component of the SC205’s exceptional sound quality.
The AMT is a unique driver design that differs from conventional tweeters. At its heart is an ultra-light, hand-folded membrane covered with a wafer-thin layer of aluminum. These conductive layers carry the music signal and move the diaphragm with precision.
The membrane is placed in a strong magnetic field, causing the Lorentz force to move the folds. Because the current flows in opposite directions on adjacent fold walls, the folds compress and expel air at a ratio of 1:4. By contrast, conventional dome tweeters move air at a ratio of 1:1.
This design delivers outstanding high-frequency resolution and dynamics with exceptionally low distortion, resulting in fine detail and remarkable clarity.
The innovative and DSP-based SMART Knob technology from EVE Audio offers a simple, intuitive way to precisely control speaker functions and adapt the sound to your needs. Here is an overview of the functions and possible uses of the SMART Knob:
To put your speakers into standby mode, press and hold the SMART Knob for three seconds. The volume is gradually reduced while the LED ring lights up once. The right-hand LED then remains dimly lit and energy consumption is reduced to just 1 watt - ideal for energy-saving operation.
The volume can be adjusted by simply turning the knob. Depending on the LED mode selected, the volume is displayed either as a light/dark ring or as a light/dark dot. This means you always have an overview of your current settings.
To mute your speakers, turn the SMART knob anticlockwise to the minimum volume level. As soon as the left LED lights up dimly, mute mode is activated.
Simply press the SMART knob to access the settings menu. Here you can adjust various filters and the behavior of the LED ring. The LED of the currently active function flashes to make navigation easier.
This filter adjusts frequencies above 3 kHz in steps of 0.5 dB. Use this function to:
Make distance adjustments: Boost high frequencies when sitting further away from the speakers or reduce them in your setup.
Optimize room acoustics: In "dead" rooms with little reflection, you can boost high frequencies, while in reflective rooms you should lower them.
The mid filter works as a bell filter at 1 kHz and allows adjustments in the range of ±3 dB in 0.5 dB steps. Ideal for:
Refine thefrequency balance between low and high mids.
Compensate for room reflections that can affect the mid-range.
This filter focuses on frequencies between 160 and 200 Hz, depending on the model. It reduces reflections from surfaces such as tables or mixing desks or boosts low frequencies to give the sound more punch.
For frequencies below 300 Hz, this filter offers the option of boosting or attenuating bass components in 0.5 dB steps. This helps to compensate for room problems such as overemphasis or weak bass.
