The construction with a compact basswood body and chic cloud maple top, bolt-on neck made of baked maple with a comfortable profile and the 22-fret fingerboard with compound radius promises a high playing comfort.

Compact basswood body meets maple neck

For the construction of the EVH Wolfgang Special QM Baked Maple, Eddie van Halen relies on tried-and-true ingredients for a rock guitar, having the body made of basswood with an applied top of quilted maple, while the bolt-on neck is made of baked maple and carries a 22-fret baked maple fretboard. The combination of the compact, sweeping body, the comfortable neck profile and the compound radius of the fretboard, which increases from 12" to 16", gives the EVH Wolfgang a comfortable feel that makes any solo, no matter how tricky, come out of your fingers with ease.
