Earthquaker Devices Black Ash Fuzz

The Earthquaker Devices Black Ash is a traditional 60’s voiced vintage fuzz pedal based on the TB with its own recipe. To make the Black Ash EQD President Jamie Stillman drew on his private collection of extremely rare components, paper-in-oil condensers and carbon mass resistors, to get as close as possible to the original ToneBender sound for this limited special edition pedal, of which only 1500x units are available worldwide. Despite a simple 3-knob operation, the Black Ash is able to achieve a wide variety of sounds; from an easy amp break-up, to a hefty crunch, all the way to a cutting evil fuzz sound. The Top control is not your typical low-pass filter and highlights frequencies between 2kHz and 10kHz to help your tone cut through the mix or accommodate for multiple pick-up options on the fly.
