The new POG3 from cult effects manufacturer Electro Harmonix is the latest version of the extensive polyphonic octaver pedal, which has been equipped with new features and major improvements. In addition to a revised design and the new integrated OLED screen, up to 100 memory presets can now be created, whereas its predecessor, the POG2, only had eight memory locations available. Furthermore, an additional voice has been added, providing a total of six voices DRY, -2, -1, +5, +1 and +2 for extensive octaver sounds. A new highlight are the individual pan controls, which can be set separately for each octave, allowing even wider sounds and dense ambient walls to be created thanks to the stereo output. In addition, the extended effects section includes a multimode filter with Q and envelope sweep, an improved DETUNE section with SPREAD and an individual DRY effect selection, as well as the famous ATTACK slider for subtle or dramatic swell effects. The POG3 is a gigantic ambient construction kit that enables countless octaver sounds and proves to be one of the most comprehensive octaver pedals in the world with great new features.
