Emma Electronic DiscumBOBulator
is the second version of the popular original filter effect pedal. It’s still the same funky eccentric auto-wah with the same impressive responsiveness and sweep that you know and love, but with an added boost function and updated art. For the newcomers, the Sense and Attack controls determine the threshold and speed of the filter. Filter bandwidth is controlled with the Width knob. The direction of the automatic filter sweep is reversible via the Up/Down switch and the new boost is engaged via a separate switch which raises the signal by up to 10dB, very handy for making lead parts stand out in a mix. The Emma Electronic DiscumBOBulator is built in Denmark from the highest quality components.

It takes a bit of exploration to get used to (I'm still doing this after a week or so) but it does everything you could reasonably expect from an envelope filter. I love the sounds it produces on my 6 string bass, but what I really like, is to use it with my sax.
